Shot for a bit at Ke Iki today. Beach got too crowded and people started getting in the way so called it a day but did get a couple interesting shots.

Here is a photo of yesterday’s beautiful sunset. The north shore has a tiny out of season bump but winds are side shore.

Spent the weekend in Maui and shot again at Makena. Wasn’t able to get on the flight back to Honolulu on Sunday with our standby tickets so we spent an extra day. Unfortunately the weather/waves didn’t cooperate; slight onshore waves, wind, clouds, and lots of people made it really tough to shoot though I learned a lot on this trip and hopefully I’ll get better photos next time. Aloha!

Maui was really hot and it was nice to find some shade.

Shot a few tiny waves at Ke Iki Beach on Oahu’s north shore. Used a Speedlite flash and got these two photos.

Conditions weren’t ideal (sideshore winds and barely any swell) but I managed to get a few decent shots in the shorebreak.

Back from a long vacation! Sloppy windswell. These two were the best I could manage today.

Went back to Makena Beach yesterday and was lucky to get light winds and sunny skies for half the morning. Unfortunately the weather went to total crap after that. A definite step up from my last attempt with the GoPRO2.

The water is so clear it makes me thinking I’m swimming in an aquarium!

Makena Beach not only boasts some of the clearest water in Hawaii, it also has some of the best sunsets. Enjoy!
