Halona Blowhole is a popular tourist attraction just past Hanauma Bay overlooking Sandy Beach. The underwater cave compresses surging waves, spitting mist 20 ft+ in the air. You’re best bet is to see the blowhole on a windy/high tide day. Windy days usually have rough ocean swells which pound the cliff and combined with the high tide produces an amazing spout. Unfortunately on this day it was calm and low tide I’ll need to come back again and take better photos though we came here to specifically for whale watching.
