I am writing a book and have a question you may be able to answer for me. What ankle do most surfers wear their board leash on? Right-handed, right ankle?
If you have a moment please email if you can. I used to live in Hawaii and miss it tons. Thank you for posting the photos to bring back wonderful memories.

Dana,
If you’re a regular foot surfer (right foot back, left foot forward as you’re riding the wave) the leash goes on your right foot. Goofy footers wear their leash on their left leg.
